Sub-types of Anuvasan Basti:

•      Sneha Basti

•      Anuvasan Basti

•      Matra Basti

Sneha Basti

•      Sneha (substances) are used for the Sneha Basti.

•      The dose is of 1/4^th of the substances used for the Niruh Basti i.e. about 240 ml.

Anuvasan basti

•      The quantity of Anuvasan is half of the quantity of Sneha Basti i.e. of 120ml.

Matra Basti

•      The quantity of Matra Basti is half of the Anuvasana Basti i.e. of 60 ml.

•      This type of basti is the safest and has least complication.
